We are searching for a highly collaborative and technically grounded Construction Operations & Estimating Associate to join our team and work directly with our client who is in the competitive Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) construction market. Serving residential clients across the DFW metroplex,specializing in a diverse range of projects from high-end home remodels and new construction to complex insurance damage and claims restoration. Known for delivering relationship-driven service, professional quality execution, and a highly responsive customer experience, they couple structural excellence with elite quality and operational integrity across every project they touch. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the firm, working in lockstep with the Owner (Visionary) and Office Operations Lead (Integrator) to own the critical "messy middle" of the construction pipeline. This is not a rigid, backend corporate estimating role; instead, you will combine traditional multi-division estimation rigor with agile project management logic. You will take various inputs—remodel requests, insurance claim details, and new construction projects—and combine them to generate highly detailed cost estimates, manage subcontractor sourcing, track change orders, and map out detailed project execution blueprints while actively protecting company margins across our operational tech stack.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

• Insurance Damage & Claims Estimation: Collaborate directly with the Senior Estimator to produce comprehensive, accurate estimates for home remodel requests and insurance damage projects. Review and analyze claim documentation inside Xactimate software to identify missing line items, build out precise supplemental documentation, and protect project profitability by ensuring correct overhead.
• Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination: Own the bid deadline pipeline. Proactively reach out to trade subcontractors and material suppliers to gather, organize, compare, and negotiate exact pricing profiles.
• Contract & Change Order Administration: Draft and structure clear, highly detailed scopes of work to pass off smoothly to field teams. Intercept and document Additional Work Orders (AWOs) cleanly so that no revenue leaks mid-project.
• Operational Resource & CRM Alignment: Oversee internal system access, platform updates, and technical issue resolution inside our construction management software. Assist in maintaining structural health across our contractor CRM data tools, ensuring field realities match dashboards for accurate cost, sales, revenue, and performance metrics.
• Operational Knowledge Aggregation: Act as the strategic holder of the company’s internal institutional knowledge. Turn the Owner's real-time field insights and voice memos into an organized internal cost/resource library to safeguard future job costing metrics.

Required Qualifications & Competencies (What We're Looking For)

• Proven U.S. Estimation & Takeoff Experience: Mastery in reading and interpreting structural construction plans, specifications, and related documents across various building divisions.
• Construction Software Fluency: Hands-on experience with contractor-focused CRM, project management, and estimating platforms (such as Projul or similar multi-tool workflows).
• Insurance Mitigation Tooling: Familiarity or prior experience analyzing and writing scopes inside Xactimate software is a major asset for maximizing storm restoration contract margins.
• Agile Mindset over Rigid Standards: A background as a site supervisor, construction foreman, project manager, or multi-skilled contractor. You must be comfortable applying practical logic to establish best-guess allowances when plan metrics are gray or unexpected remodeling variables arise.
• Hyper-Collaborative Communicator: High English proficiency with the ability to "bump and jive" interactively in real-time with stateside leadership. Comfort taking dynamic audio downloads and rapidly transforming them into highly professional client presentations.
• Elite Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the organizational stamina to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks on the fly, and meet strict deadlines.
• Graveyard Shift Availability: Dedication to working fully synchronous hours with Central Standard Time (CST) to maintain seamless, immediate daily collaboration with a US-based team.
