Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of assigned areas in accordance with Sodexo standards and client requirements. The role ensures a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and guests through efficient housekeeping services and adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, production support areas, and other facilities.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ensure washrooms are clean, stocked, and maintained throughout the shift.
  • Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste in accordance with company and environmental guidelines.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables as needed.

Facility Upkeep

  • Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Report any facility defects, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Support periodic deep-cleaning activities and special housekeeping projects.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  • Properly handle cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.
  • Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Comply with Sodexo policies, client requirements, and workplace safety regulations.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and concerns.
  • Support Sodexo's commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • At least High School Graduate or Senior High School Graduate.
  • Previous housekeeping, janitorial, utility, or cleaning experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning tasks.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Honest, reliable, and service-oriented.
