About the Hotel

The hotel will be the newest boutique hotel in Oroquieta City and a welcome addition to the growing portfolio of SMS Hospitality Network's managed properties. We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of the hotel and ensure excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and team performance.

Job Summary

The Hotel Manager will be responsible for supervising the hotel’s day-to-day operations, managing employees, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the hotel's pre-opening activities, including recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination among departments.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor hotel revenue and operational performance, and implement strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
  • Support local sales and marketing activities by building relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and local partners.
  • Prepare operational reports and management updates
  • Monitor expenses and assist in budget management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or any related course.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or other hospitality-related business.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations is an advantage.
  • Willing to relocate and work in Oroquieta City.
  • Can start ASAP.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Front Office and Housekeeping operations.
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and OTA’s.
  • Pre-Opening Experience.
