Job Description:

The Shift Engineer is tasked to collaborate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that all hotel structures/systems, furbishing and equipment are optimally functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of day-to-day Engineering and maintenance operations of the Hotel.
• Prepare schedule for the preventive maintenance program for guest rooms, public areas and all other property equipment.
• Responsible for preventive maintenance breakdown repair and constructive work. Propose and recommend upgrading, improvement work and energy saving project.
• Checks the construction, renovation, improvement projects which are carried out in the hotel are according to plan or standards.
• Does facility walkthrough, all facility related concerns and implements recommendations and/or rectifications on noted concerns

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree (preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
• Licensed Engineer
• 1-2 years of solid Hotel experience
• In-depth working knowledge of all aspects of building systems and operations, contractual maintenance, construction and related services, laws and building codes pertaining to building operations and safety
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
