Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and service-oriented Food and Beverage Server – On-Call to assist in providing excellent dining and banquet services to hotel guests and customers. The position will support the Food and Beverage team during busy periods, events, functions, and as operational requirements arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and courteously attend to guests upon arrival.
  • Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
  • Set up, prepare, and maintain dining areas, tables, and service stations.
  • Assist in banquet, restaurant, and other Food and Beverage functions as assigned.
  • Ensure proper presentation and service of food and beverages.
  • Respond professionally to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Assist in the preparation and breakdown of functions, events, and banquet setups.
  • Ensure all service equipment, utensils, glassware, and other materials are clean and properly arranged.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and other Food and Beverage personnel to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain proper grooming and personal hygiene in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service standards.
  • Assist with inventory, storage, and proper handling of Food and Beverage items when required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • High school graduate or college level; preferably with a degree or background in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Services, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in hotel, restaurant, banquet, or Food and Beverage operations is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of basic Food and Beverage service procedures.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to take and process guest orders accurately.
  • Knowledge of proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on an on-call basis, including weekends, holidays, and during special events or peak periods.
  • Physically fit and able to stand and move for extended periods.
  • Must be flexible with work schedules and operational requirements.

On-Call Requirement

The successful candidate must be available to report for duty when called upon, depending on hotel occupancy, events, banquets, and operational requirements. On-call schedules may vary and may include weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
