Full job description

1.0 DUTIES:

1.1 Regular Duties

1.1.1 Assists guests in their orders / recommends house specialty.

1.1.2 Distributes bread, butter, creamers, water pitchers, etc., as directed.

1.1.3 Serves beverages and salads.

1.1.4 Delivers main course plates to the tables. The waiter staff for the day should decide in what order tables will be served.

1.1.5 Serves dessert.

1.1.6 Picks-up dirty dishes, cups, silverware, paper goods and food items from the tables.

1.1.7 Wipes down tables, unless doing so will interfere with the after- dinner program.

1.2 Occasional Duty

5.2.1 Relieve in lateral staff duties, when necessary, for continuous operations.

5.3 Performs other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior. (Does not apply to top management.)

6.0 QUALIFICATIONS:

6.1 Education

6.1.1 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage Services Management, Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Restaurant & Institution Management or equivalent.

6.2 Work Experience/s:

6.2.1 At least 1-2 years experience in a restaurant as a waiter / food attendant.

6.3 Special Qualities/Skills Required:

6.3.1 Superior customer service resulting in guest satisfaction.

6.3.2 Results oriented.

6.3.3 Must have excellent oral & written communication and conversation skills (both English & Tagalog).

6.3.4 Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

6.3.5 Must have pleasing personality.
