• Can perform guest and supplies inventory.
• Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checklists.
• Ensure that reservations of the day match the dining set-up per table.
• Complete mis en place before, during and after operations.
• Ensure all table set ups are sanitized and complete.
• Taking guests food and drink orders according to operational standards, ensuring accuracy of item ordered and guests preferences when communicated, and up-selling whenever possible.
• Memorize menu, daily specials and monthly promotions
• Delivering orders promptly from the kitchen or bar and observing the proper ordering procedures.
• Inspecting all items before serving, for appearance and temperature.
• Assist in clearing tables as necessary.
• Ensures all hygiene standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two (2) years' experience in bar, restaurant, and hotel operations.
• Can administer cashiering functions after completion of the training.
• Knowledgeable in using relevant systems such as Birchstreet, Agylysis, Opentable, etc.
• Understands concept of guest service.
