Full job description
The Assistant Purchaser supports daily procurement operations by sourcing suppliers, processing purchase requisitions, creating purchase orders (POs), and ensuring timely delivery of goods, equipment, and services. This role works closely with local and national suppliers to secure high-quality products at competitive prices while complying with company procurement policies and local statutory regulations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control (hospitality, retail, construction, or manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of local market suppliers in Butuan City and the Caraga Region.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and inventory/purchasing software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or custom ERPs).
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills (English, Tagalog, and Bisaya).
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
Pay: Php13,000.00 - Php15,000.00 per month
