Job Description:

The Hotel Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and sanitation in all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The position ensures efficient daily operations, well-trained and motivated staff, and consistent guest satisfaction in line with property standards and safety protocols.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management

  • Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas.
  • Inspect rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guests.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office for room status updates and quick turnovers.

2. Staff Supervision & Training

  • Schedule, train, and motivate housekeeping and laundry staff.
  • Enforce discipline, grooming, and safety standards.

3. Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor usage and requisition of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.

4. Guest Satisfaction

  • Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints regarding cleanliness or amenities.
  • Uphold the hotel’s image of cleanliness and comfort at all times.

5. Maintenance Coordination

  • Report and follow up on room defects or engineering issues.
  • Work closely with Engineering for preventive maintenance schedules.

6. Administrative Duties

  • Keep accurate records of staff performance, linen inventory, and room inspections.
  • Prepare daily and monthly housekeeping reports for the General Manager.

  • Linen and chemical cost efficiency
  • Staff attendance and performance metrics
  • Housekeeping Operations Budget

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
