What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the implementation and monitoring of workplace safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conducting routine workplace inspections, basic risk assessments, and job safety analyses to help identify and control hazards.
• Assisting with incident and near-miss investigations and preparing reports with recommended corrective actions.
• Providing day-to-day safety guidance and support to employees and departments.
• Helping ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company requirements.
• Supporting the management team in monitoring safety performance and following up on safety improvement activities.
• Conducting safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and refresher training for employees and contractors.
• Promoting safe work practices and contributing to a positive safety culture across the organization.
• Maintaining accurate safety records, inspection checklists, training records, and incident documentation.
• Keeping informed of relevant safety practices and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escalating significant safety concerns and unresolved issues to the Safety Manager or relevant management personnel.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, logistics, or similar industry.
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, hazard identification, and risk control.
• Familiarity with applicable Philippine DOLE standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Exposure to automotive safety requirements or industry-specific health and safety standards is an advantage.
• Ability to support the implementation of safety programs and follow up on corrective actions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with employees at different levels.
• Basic problem-solving, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Candidates with other relevant educational backgrounds and suitable safety experience may also be considered.
• Occupational health and safety certification or training is preferred.
