About the role

The PhilHealth/Billing Clerk is responsible for the accurate processing, monitoring, and documentation of PhilHealth benefits and patient billing transactions. The position ensures that dialysis claims, patient accounts, billing documents, and supporting records are complete, accurate, and processed within established hospital and PhilHealth requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the patient's PhilHealth membership, eligibility, and applicable dialysis benefits.
• Verify and maintain patient registration and information in the PhilHealth Dialysis Database (POD), when applicable.
• Monitor the patient's dialysis sessions and PhilHealth benefit utilization.
• Maintain an updated record of sessions used and remaining available benefits.
• Verify prior dialysis utilization for patients transferring from another facility and coordinate the required supporting documents.
• Coordinate with the Dialysis unit, Medical Records, Billing Department, and PhilHealth personnel regarding patient benefits and claims.
• Maintain confidential and organized PhilHealth records.
• Prepare and process PhilHealth outright deductions against patient's hospital bills.
• Accurately apply the applicable PhilHealth benefit to the patient's account before final billing or discharge, as appropriate.
• Ensure that PhilHealth deductions are properly reflected in the patient's Statement of Account (SOA).

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
