About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Coordinator to support our expanding medical practice. This role focuses on insurance eligibility verification, prior authorizations, charge entry, and payment posting to ensure clean claims and optimal revenue cycle performance. The ideal candidate has strong experience in medical billing and thrives in a remote, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance eligibility verification and benefits checks for new and established patients
• Obtain and track prior authorizations for procedures
• Accurately enter charges into the practice management system using appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and modifier codes
• Post payments, adjustments, and denials; reconcile ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) and patient payments
• Handle claim scrubbing, resubmissions, and appeals for zero-pay or rejected claims
• Collaborate with clinical teams to resolve authorization and billing issues
• Support month-end revenue reconciliation and identify denial trends for process improvement
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all payer guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in medical revenue cycle management, preferably in procedural/specialty practices
• Solid knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorization processes, charge entry, and payment posting
• Familiarity with CPT codes and ICD-10 coding is a strong plus
• Experience with practice management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet daily productivity targets
• High proficiency in English (written and verbal); bilingual skills are a plus
• Reliable high-speed internet, quiet workspace, and ability to work independently in a remote setting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
