Toucanstalk is looking for passionate and dedicated Online ESL Teachers to join our growing teaching community. As an ESL Teacher, you will provide engaging and effective English lessons to Chinese learners through our online platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging 26-minute online English classes for children and/or adult learners.
• Follow provided lesson materials and adapt teaching techniques based on students’ needs and levels.
• Encourage students to actively participate and communicate in English.
• Provide clear explanations, corrections, and constructive feedback.
• Build a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance for scheduled classes.
• Complete required post-class evaluations and feedback within the designated timeframe.
• Monitor students’ progress and adjust teaching approaches when appropriate.
• Maintain a professional teaching setup, appearance, and classroom environment.
• Follow company policies, teaching standards, and platform guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of ESL teaching experience.
• At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong English communication skills with clear pronunciation and fluency.
• Good grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction skills.
• Patient, enthusiastic, and comfortable teaching students of different ages and levels.
• Experience teaching children is an advantage.
• Willing to commit to at least 20 teaching hours per week, including peak hours and weekends.

Technical Requirements

• Laptop or desktop computer with a clear camera (720p or higher recommended).
• Reliable noise-canceling headset.
• Stable wired internet connection of at least 30 Mbps.
• Quiet, clean, and professional teaching environment.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms is an advantage.

Teaching Schedule

• Teaching hours are available from 5:00 AM to 12:00 MN BJT, Monday to Sunday.
• Availability during peak hours, particularly 7:00 PM–10:00 PM BJT, and weekends is highly encouraged.

Compensation & Benefits

• ₱75 per 26-minute class (₱150/hour).
