Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring compliance with company policies and responsible alcohol service regulations. The role also involves managing inventory, processing customer payments, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesBeverage Preparation and Service

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Mix cocktails, pour beer and wine, and prepare specialty drinks.
  • Ensure beverages are presented attractively and served promptly.
  • Verify customers' legal drinking age before serving alcoholic beverages.

Customer Service

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take beverage and snack orders accurately.
  • Recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Build positive relationships to encourage repeat business.

Bar Operations

  • Set up the bar before opening and close it at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the bar clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
  • Replenish ice, garnishes, glassware, and beverage supplies.
  • Ensure all bar equipment is clean and functioning properly.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels of beverages, mixers, and bar supplies.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Report low stock levels and damaged items.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and minimize product waste.

Cash Handling and POS Operations

  • Process customer payments accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Issue receipts and maintain accurate cash records.
  • Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Follow company procedures for cash handling and payment processing.

Sanitation and Safety

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food and beverage regulations.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Ensure safe handling of glassware, equipment, and cleaning materials.
  • Comply with workplace health and safety policies.

Teamwork and Support

  • Coordinate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service.
  • Assist with special events and promotions when required.
  • Support teammates during busy periods.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in food and beverage service is preferred.
  • Bartending certification or responsible alcohol service certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques.

A Bartender plays an essential role in creating an enjoyable guest experience by providing high-quality beverage service, maintaining a clean and efficient bar, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Pay: Php20,800.00 - Php21,500.00 per month
