Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service and satisfaction; able to follow Mary Grace Foods, Inc's service standards, building emotional connection and customer delight with every interaction.
  • Understands and empathizes with customers' needs and concerns, ensuring they feel valued, and their requests are taken seriously.
  • Quickly responds to any issues or complaints from guests with a focus on maintaining guest satisfaction and minimizing disruption to their dining experience.
  • Enters orders into the POS system according to standards.
  • Ensures that the food is presented attractively and meets Mary Grace Foods, Inc.’s standards before serving to guests.
  • Ensures that food portions and presentations are consistent with the restaurant’s menu specifications and quality standards.
  • Deals with customer feedback based on standards.
  • Issues bills, accepts payments, and provides change accordingly.
  • Conducts routine inspections of the dining area, including tables and chairs, to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Addresses any issues with table settings, such as damaged or dirty items, promptly to maintain a high-quality dining experience.
  • Assists in receiving and inspecting deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Conducts beginning and ending inventory count.
  • Performs other tasks assigned by their immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or equivalent / College level with at least 2 years of related experience in a casual dining full-service restaurant
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Has good verbal and written communications skills
  • Amenable to work on a shifting schedule, with possible overtime work (including holidays, weekends, and night shift schedules)
  • Amenable to walk and stand for long periods, as service demands, and carry heavy-weight materials and to get exposed to cold/hot food preparation and food service environments
  • Amenable to get exposed to food allergens
