Full job description
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting guests, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders
- Order Delivery: Serving food and beverages promptly in accordance with service standards
- Sales and Service: Providing menu recommendations, offering detailed information about ingredients, and processing payments
- Maintenance: Maintaining cleanliness of tables and serving stations, and adhering to food safety regulations
- Complaint Management: Attending to guest needs and resolving complaints professionally
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in the F&B industry (restaurants, hotels, or cafes) is often required
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a professional attitude
- Knowledge: Knowledge of service techniques, POS systems, and food safety standards
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required
