Scale Suite is an Australian startup delivering embedded finance and HR services to fast-growing SMEs. We sit inside our clients' businesses as their fractional back-office team, operating via Slack, Zoom, and Employment Hero rather than showing up once a month with a report. Our clients get a senior, professionally-backed team without the cost of hiring one internally and are only of the only companies successfully leveraging AI.

The Australian HR Market

Australia's HR services market is enormous and largely underserved at the SME level. Thousands of fast-growing businesses need serious people and culture support but cannot justify a full-time hire. That gap is exactly what Scale Suite is built to fill.

This role puts you right in the middle of that opportunity. As we grow the client portfolio, the trajectory for the right person is significant: more clients, a growing team, and a service line with genuine upside. The career path here is not fixed or narrow. It grows as fast as you do.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of day-to-day people operations for our HR clients, working directly with their leadership team as a trusted daily partner. As the client portfolio grows, you will take on more, develop your skills across a diverse range of Australian businesses, and grow into a more senior position within the practice.

The bigger picture is significant: we are building a fractional, embedded HR service model. Not a consultancy. Not a traditional HR agency. Something genuinely new, where a the team delivers real, ongoing people operations inside Australian businesses as if they were part of the company. You will be part of helping build that from the ground up.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing day-to-day people operations for HR clients including recruitment coordination, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and Employment Hero administration
• Acting as a daily contact for senior Australian business leaders and staff, providing responsive and professional support
• Assisting with quarterly pulse surveys, engagement initiatives, and culture activities across the client portfolio
• Supporting the development of HR templates, processes, and frameworks that can be scaled across multiple clients
• Contributing to broader business tasks on an occasional basis, such as social media management and other ad-hoc initiatives
• Growing into greater responsibility as the client base expands and the team scales

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable Top 4 Philippine university
• Two or more years in an HR, people operations, or talent coordination role
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks without close supervision
• Familiarity with Employment Hero or a comparable HRIS platform is an advantage but not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior Australian professionals and executives
• Curious, driven, and genuinely excited by the idea of working with a diverse portfolio of Australian businesses
• Energised by the opportunity to build something new rather than maintain something existing
