Position: Prior Authorization Specialist

Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to handle insurance authorization requests for patients and healthcare providers. The role involves verifying insurance, preparing and submitting authorization requests, coordinating with insurance companies, and tracking approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
• Prepare and submit prior authorization requests to insurance providers.
• Gather required medical records and supporting documentation.
• Follow up with insurance companies on pending authorizations.
• Track approvals, denials, and outstanding requests.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain missing information.
• Maintain accurate records of authorization requests and outcomes.
• Handle patient and insurance information with confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with insurance representatives and healthcare teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience in prior authorization, medical billing, insurance verification, or healthcare administration.
• Familiarity with US healthcare insurance and payer processes.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Comfortable making phone calls to insurance companies.
• Experience with EHR/EMR, payer portals, or medical billing systems is a plus.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35,000.00 per month
