Graphic Artist
Visualize and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. Shape the visual aspects of websites, product packaging, posters, exhibitions and displays and more.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES and QUALIFICATIONS

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with creative director to produce final design
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Think creatively and produce new ideas and concepts and develop interactive design
  • Create an effective website and business card

Requirements and skills

  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Produce visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers.
  • Must have a natural eye for design and color and design imaginative content that effectively resonates with audience.
  • Design creative content for online campaigns, print ads, websites, and even videos.
  • Graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message.
  • Have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
