Job description:

We are looking to add a new Level 1 Technical/Customer Support member to our team who can solve problems quickly and keep our customers happy. We need a tech geek with customer service skills! Are you the type of person who enjoys helping people make things work? Do you read tech blogs in your spare time? Can you understand complicated technical jargon, and are you able to translate it to someone like your grandmother? We need someone who isn't afraid to "get their hands dirty" and grab a product off the shelf to try and support an application/device for a customer. The kind of person who will educate themselves during "downtime" on how our devices work. The type of person who always wants to provide service above and beyond what our customers would expect.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide end-user support for security-related electronic devices.
  • Provide support for billing or order-related inquiries.
  • Learn about the devices we sell and be able to help our customers use them.
  • Answer customer inquiries in a friendly informative manner.
  • Respond to and resolve a high volume of telephone, e-mail, or chat/SMS inquiries.
  • Make customers feel comfortable with their purchases.
  • Calm down frustrated customers while maintaining a patient and professional attitude

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer, Internet, and e-mail skills.
  • Resourceful: Must be able to solve problems.
  • Good at keeping up with an ever-expanding line of products.
  • Good at finding solutions on their own, not just by reading a manual.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English.
  • Multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Able to work independently, not afraid to ask questions, and able to make good decisions.
  • Professional, high-energy team player.
  • Must love electronic gadgets.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Technical Support experience in an E-Commerce Call Center environment is preferred
  • With a reliable internet connection at home and be able to answer inbound customer support calls in a quiet surrounding
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be friendly and professional to both internal and external customers!
  • Experience with Order Management Software preferred
  • Fresh Grads are welcome to apply as long as they possess above-average communication skills and the ability to adapt to a highly technical account and overcome challenges
