Qualifications

College Degree or Graduate of any allied medical course

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Medical Transcription

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation

Excellent listening skills and ability to transcribe live dictations or recordings accurately

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high productivity standards

Familiar with HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality standards

Skilled in using transcription software, foot pedals, and word processing tools

Computer literate: capable of researching terms, messaging and office applications
