DIRECT HIRE FOR 2026 AND 2027

POSITION SUMMARY

The Restaurant Manager will be one of the key members of the pioneer restaurant team, responsible for helping establish the restaurant's service culture and ensuring that the guest experience reflects the standards of a premium fine-dining establishment.

The successful candidate will be actively involved not only in managing daily service but also in developing service procedures, training the opening team, refining standards, and establishing the restaurant's way of doing things.

This position requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable being visible on the restaurant floor and who understands that excellent fine dining is built through consistency, attention to detail, teamwork, and genuine hospitality.

Chinese restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. RESTAURANT FLOOR MANAGEMENT

  • Lead daily restaurant service and ensure smooth execution.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings and service preparations.
  • Monitor guest flow, table assignments, reservations, and service timing.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Coordinate closely with the kitchen and other operating teams.

2. DEVELOPING SERVICE STANDARDS

  • Help establish the restaurant's service procedures and standards.
  • Develop practical service routines appropriate for a fine-dining Chinese restaurant.
  • Help define expectations for table service, guest interaction, dining etiquette, and service recovery.
  • Continuously refine service standards based on actual operating experience.

3. TEAM LEADERSHIP

  • Help build and train the restaurant's opening service team.
  • Coach employees in proper service techniques and guest interaction.
  • Set clear expectations regarding professionalism, grooming, attendance, and conduct.
  • Develop team members and future supervisors.
  • Create a positive and professional working environment.

4. GUEST EXPERIENCE

  • Personally monitor guest satisfaction.
  • Welcome and interact with guests when appropriate.
  • Handle complaints and service recovery professionally.
  • Assist with VIP guests, celebrations, private dining, and special requests.
  • Ensure guests receive attentive but unobtrusive service.

5. PRE-OPENING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Participate in mock services and opening preparations.
  • Identify service issues before and after opening.
  • Recommend improvements to service flow and procedures.
  • Work with management to establish practical standards that employees can consistently execute.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant degree or background in Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong experience in restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or F&B operations.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership responsibility is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of guest service and restaurant operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, confident, and approachable.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of service standards.
  • Able to lead by example and remain calm during busy operations.
  • Fine-dining, luxury hotel, premium restaurant, or Chinese restaurant experience is an advantage.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This is a leadership position, not an entry-level restaurant role.

We are looking for someone who has already demonstrated the ability to take responsibility for a restaurant team or significant service operation and who is ready to help establish the service culture of a new restaurant.

Candidates with strong experience in other premium dining environments are encouraged to apply even without Chinese restaurant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
