Duties and Responsibility

Food Preparation

• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion vegetables, fruits, meats, fish, and other ingredients according to recipes and portion standards
• Measure and mix ingredients, prepare marinades, sauces, dressings, and spice blends ahead of service
• Organize and set up all ingredients and tools at each station (mise en place) before service starts
• Prepare basic dishes, sides, or simple menu items under supervision
• Check and maintain food freshness, discard spoiled or expired items

Cooking & Service Support

• Assist chefs during service: pass ingredients, monitor cooking times, adjust heat, and plate dishes neatly
• Operate basic kitchen equipment safely: ovens, stoves, grills, blenders, mixers, slicers, and food processors
• Follow recipes strictly to ensure consistent taste, portion size, and presentation
• Help with food plating and garnishing to match restaurant standards
• Restock stations and ingredients quickly during busy shifts

Sanitation & Safety

• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, cutting boards, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment before and after use
• Wash dishes, glassware, and cutlery; organize storage areas properly
• Follow all food safety rules: proper food storage temperatures, cross-contamination prevention, and personal hygiene
• Dispose of waste and recycling correctly; keep floors and the entire kitchen area tidy and hazard-free
• Comply with health department regulations and workplace safety policies

Inventory & Organization

• Receive, check, and store deliveries properly; label and date all stored food
• Monitor stock levels and inform the chef when ingredients need reordering
• Rotate stock using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method to reduce waste
• Organize refrigerators, freezers, dry storage, and pantry areas for easy access

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
