Essential Qualifications and Competencies

• Coding Proficiency: Required to be proficient in languages such as HTML, WordPress, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and multimedia publishing tools like Flash for front-end development. Knowledge of back-end programming in Python, Java, Ruby, and PHP is particularly useful for Full Stack Web Developers.
• Version Control: Must have crucial technical skills in the GIT version control system to track and control changes made to the code.
• Libraries and Frameworks: Essential knowledge of using libraries and frameworks to simplify and speed up development.
• Front-end: React, jQuery, Angular, and Vue.js.
• Back-end: Express, ASP.NET Core, Spring, Flask, and Django.
• Quality Assurance & UX: Ability to validate code, verify it for bugs, and fix errors. Understanding of user experience (UX) to design websites that are aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
• Non-Technical Skills: * Adaptability and openness to learning new things.
• Attention to detail, focus, and persistence.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, designers, writers, SEO specialists, Content for Leads Generation, Social Media Management, and customers.
• General Knowledge: Strong knowledge and skill in writing, math, reading, and communications; understanding of information system methodology, hardware, software, and general business flows/procedures.

General Responsibilities

• Create website layout/user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Testing the website before deployment and at regular intervals.
• Debugging the website to optimize code and improve performance.
• Regular testing and validation of code to guarantee intended functions and operational status.
• Maintaining the website and supporting the organization/client on website updates.
• Collaborating with designers to understand and execute their vision.
• Connecting databases and maintaining API integrations from various back-end services.
• Ensuring responsive design seamlessly adapts to various screen sizes (mobile, tablets, desktop).
• Organizing and displaying design specifications.
• Investigating reported issues to understand user problems, identify root causes (via code analysis and debuggers), and apply appropriate fixes.
• Analyzing existing program logic and designing enhancements based on correction or modification requirements.
• Reading, understanding, generating, and amending technical and formal process documentation.
• Providing web-based application development, consulting, support, and maintenance for corporate systems.
• Providing user references by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support and training users as needed.
