Job Summary

The Rigging Corporation is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our operations team in Calamba, Laguna. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials, equipment, and cargo within the yard and warehouse. The ideal candidate has experience operating forklifts, follows safety procedures, and helps maintain efficient material handling operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, transport, and stack materials and equipment.
  • Move heavy loads within the warehouse, yard, and designated work areas.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or defects.
  • Ensure materials are stored properly to maximize space utilization and maintain workplace safety.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Follow all company safety policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure timely movement of materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Complete equipment checklists and other required documentation accurately.
  • Perform other duties related to warehouse and yard operations as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or vocational graduate.
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification or NC II is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of forklift safety standards and proper material handling techniques.
  • Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and industrial environments.
  • Willing to work overtime, shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
  • Reliable, safety-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team.
