Job Summary

The Food Service Crew Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The role ensures that food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction are consistently maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

A. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, promotions, and available products.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure order accuracy.
• Handle basic customer concerns professionally and refer complaints to the supervisor when necessary.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.

B. Food Preparation and Service

• Prepare food and beverages according to approved recipes, portion standards, and company procedures.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and preparation guidelines.
• Check food quality, freshness, presentation, and serving temperature before serving.
• Ensure correct portions and presentation according to established standards.
• Refill condiments, utensils, packaging materials, and other service essentials as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation.

C. Cleanliness and Sanitation

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dining area, kitchen, counters, service stations, and restrooms as assigned.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, equipment, utensils, and food preparation surfaces.
• Follow proper waste disposal and segregation procedures.
• Comply with personal hygiene, grooming, and handwashing requirements.
• Ensure that all work areas are organized, safe, and ready for service.

D. Cashiering and Order Processing

• Operate the POS system and handle cash, card, and other authorized payment methods accurately.
• Issue receipts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Follow cash handling procedures and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Assist with opening and closing cashier procedures when assigned.
• Ensure accurate order entry and proper coordination of dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders.

E. Inventory and Supplies

• Monitor the availability of food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and other supplies.
• Replenish stocks at assigned stations when necessary.
• Report low inventory, damaged products, spoilage, and equipment problems to the supervisor.
• Follow proper stock rotation and storage procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out), where applicable.
• Help minimize food waste and prevent unnecessary product loss.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; vocational or college education is an advantage.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not always required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented, reliable, honest, and willing to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is an advantage.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
