Kitchen Assistant
Deployed at MacroAsia Catering Services, Inc / Merville Pasay
Position: Kitchen Helper / Kitchen Assistant
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist cooks and chefs in food preparation.
- Wash, peel, slice, and prepare ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Arrange and store food supplies properly.
- Assist in food packing and assembly according to airline catering standards.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company regulations.
- Support production operations to ensure on-time meal preparation and delivery.
Qualifications:
- At least 2nd-year college level or graduate of a vocational course related to Hospitality, HRM, Culinary Arts, or similar fields.
- Experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or kitchen operations is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shifting schedules.
- Physically fit and willing to work under pressure.
