The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and food items while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Beverage Preparation

• Prepare and serve coffee and non-coffee beverages according to standard recipes
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment properly
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality

2. Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
• Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries
• Handle customer concerns professionally and courteously

3. Cash Handling

• Process payments (cash, card, e-wallets) accurately
• Issue receipts and ensure proper cash balancing at the end of shift

4. Store Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and dining space
• Replenish supplies such as cups, syrups, milk, and ingredients
• Follow opening and closing procedures

5. Inventory Support

• Assist in monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies

6. Compliance

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Adhere to company policies and operational procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least Senior High School graduate or equivalent
• With or without experience (experience in food & beverage is an advantage)
• Knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-oriented and service-driven
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
