ROLE OVERVIEW:

UpraisIT is looking for a Loan and Mortgage Support Specialist to support our Australian real estate client. This role focuses on end-to-end loan processing on the broker side (not lender/bank), ensuring a seamless and compliant experience from inquiry to settlement.

The ideal candidate has strong experience handling Australian mortgage processes within a brokerage environment, with the ability to manage applications from submission to settlement. You will play a key role in ensuring clients receive accurate information, timely updates, and professional service aligned with Australian lending standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide end-to-end support for loan and mortgage applications (broker side) — from inquiry, documentation, submission, and processing to settlement
• Deliver excellent customer service to Australian clients, assisting with loan-related queries, application tracking, and product information
• Review and verify all loan documentation for accuracy and compliance with Australian lending policies
• Liaise with Australian lenders, mortgage brokers, and financial institutions to ensure smooth and accurate processing
• Manage loan submissions, follow-ups, and conditions to ensure timely approvals and settlements
• Support clients with pre-approval, refinancing, and post-settlement inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
• Maintain regular follow-ups and prepare reports to monitor loan progress and client satisfaction
• Handle inquiries related to interest rates, repayments, and mortgage features
• Stay up to date with Australian mortgage market trends and regulations
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to streamline workflows and enhance the client experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
• At least 2–4 years of experience in AU loan processing on the BROKER side (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in end-to-end mortgage processing (submission to settlement)
• Strong background in Australian mortgage or lending environment
• Preferably with customer service experience handling Australian accounts (banking, lending, or insurance background preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with a professional and confident tone suitable for Australian clients
• Solid understanding of Australian lending procedures and compliance requirements
• Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., ApplyOnline, Mercury, Flex, NextGen, or similar) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proactive, service-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior experience supporting Australian mortgage brokerage firms
• Knowledge of residential, investment, or commercial loan products
• Experience handling multiple loan files simultaneously in a high-volume environment
