Hotel receptionist's job is to welcome guests, assist with their needs, and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out process. First point of contact for guests and are responsible for maintaining the front desk.

Responsibilities:

• Guest services: Welcome guests, answer questions, and provide information about the hotel
• Reservations: Assist guests with reservations, allocate rooms, and provide keys
• Check-in and check-out: Check guest details against bookings, process payments, and return deposits
• Guest requests: Handle guest requests and complaints, and contact the appropriate staff to address them
• Administrative tasks: Complete filing, photocopying, and bookkeeping duties
• Room bills: Prepare room bills and present them to departing guests
• Phone calls: Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to guest rooms, and take messages
• Wake-up calls: Provide wake-up calls for guests
• Reception area maintenance: Ensure the reception area is clean and guide cleaners to keep it clean.
