  • Overall supervision of the department as to implementation of accounting policies and procedures both in general accounts and manning section.
  • Preparing bi-monthly payroll of employees and pay slips distribution.
  • Computation of employees’ monthly overtime for payment.
  • Prepare annual report for expanded and compensation withholding taxes.
  • Preparation of monthly Withholding Tax returns and submit to BIR.
  • Preparing Value Added Tax Report and submit to BIR.
  • Preparing Quarterly Corporate Income Tax Return for submission to BIR.
  • Make certain that Tax requirement are complied with for BIR purposes.
  • Determines the cash requirements for conversion from US Dollar fund to Peso.
  • Negotiating USD to PESO Conversion and transferring of funds to different BPI account.
  • Checking of summary and supporting invoices for liquidation of advances officers and employees.
  • Preparation of monthly Financial Statements, summaries and schedules as support to further interpret the Financial Statements.
  • Submission of annual audited FS to BIR, SEC and annual GFFS to SEC.
  • In charge of external financial audit and provide the required documents and necessary schedule of the Financial Statements to auditors.
  • Timely check and monitor daily cash position to ensure sufficient fund.
  • Make sure that remittances from Principals are received on time and accounted properly.
  • Preparation of Vessels Initial Funding request at the first week of the month.
  • Preparation of Vessels Pre-funding request at the third week of the month.

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/ACA/CPA certifications.
  • 8+ Years in Similar role/Industry
  • Knowledge of the local regulations related to taxation and compliance
  • Experience in financial processes and managing a budget.
  • Managerial, coaching skills and leadership experience.
