Full job description

Receiving and Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Temperature Monitoring: Monitor and record the temperature of all incoming frozen and chilled deliveries to ensure cold chain integrity is maintained.
  • Invoice Verification: Conduct randomized audits of incoming dry, frozen, and chilled shipments against delivery invoices to verify quantity, item accuracy, and prevent discrepancies.
  • Quality and Expiration Inspections: Inspect all inbound deliveries for correct expiration dates, visual quality, and intact packaging before accepting them into inventory.
  • Sensory and Color QA Testing: Perform Quality Assurance (QA) evaluations on food ingredients and flavoring pastes. This includes taste testing and color palette checking by comparing new deliveries against retained standard samples.
  • Discrepancy Reporting: Reject deliveries that fail quality, temperature, or expiration standards, and promptly report these issues to suppliers or the purchasing department.

Inventory Management

  • Cycle Counting: Execute daily cycle counts to ensure physical stock matches the inventory management system, quickly identifying and resolving any variances.
  • Expiry Tracking & Shelf-Life Management: Monitor stock for approaching expiration dates. Summarize near-expiry items and coordinate with the commissary or production team for retesting and potential shelf-life extension.
  • Stock Rotation (FIFO/FEFO): Enforce strict First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) inventory rotation practices to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Storage Optimization: Ensure all items are stored in their designated temperature-controlled or dry storage zones, maximizing warehouse space and accessibility.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage outbound orders or internal department requisitions accurately and efficiently.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit daily warehouse reports detailing inbound receipts, outgoing shipments, inventory variances, and QA findings.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in strict compliance with food safety regulations and occupational health standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) during the loading, unloading, and storing of materials.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
