Full job description

The Training & Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading Selene's recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains exceptional healthcare virtual professionals. This leadership role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including sourcing and interviewing candidates, coordinating hiring and onboarding, developing comprehensive training programs, and implementing competency-based education to prepare employees to support healthcare providers across the United States.

The successful candidate will design and manage Selene's training academy, facilitate new employee orientation, develop educational materials, and ensure all team members receive ongoing training in HIPAA compliance, U.S. healthcare operations, customer service, communication, and client-specific workflows. In addition, the Training & Talent Acquisition Manager will establish quality assurance standards, monitor employee performance, identify skill gaps, provide coaching and mentorship, and implement continuing education initiatives that promote professional growth and operational excellence.

This position is also responsible for developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives to identify highly qualified healthcare virtual assistants and administrative professionals. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through multiple recruitment platforms, conducting interviews, evaluating technical and communication competencies, performing reference and background verification, maintaining a strong talent pipeline, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The manager will collaborate closely with company leadership to forecast staffing needs, improve recruitment strategies, strengthen employer branding, and ensure every new hire aligns with Selene's mission, values, and commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare support.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and innovative leader with experience in talent acquisition, employee training, healthcare operations, and remote workforce management. This individual should possess outstanding leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills, demonstrate the ability to build high-performing teams, and be passionate about developing professionals who provide exceptional support to healthcare practices.
