Mechanical Engineer – Fabrication DesignAbout the Role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong fabrication and design experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate can confidently read and create fabrication and welding drawings and understands how designs are fabricated, welded, and assembled.

Strong experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Read and interpret engineering, fabrication, assembly, and welding drawings.
  • Develop practical and manufacturable designs.
  • Apply knowledge of welding, weld symbols, joints, and fabrication methods.
  • Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements.
  • Work with fabricators, welders, engineers, and project teams to resolve design issues.
  • Modify designs based on fabrication or project requirements.
  • Assist with material take-offs and technical documentation.
  • Use Navisworks to review models and identify design issues when required.
  • Ensure drawings meet project and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong background in mechanical fabrication and design.
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication and welding drawings.
  • Good knowledge of welding processes and fabrication methods.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Experience creating detailed fabrication/manufacturing drawings.
  • Good understanding of materials, dimensions, and tolerances.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify practical and manufacturable design solutions.
  • Experience working with fabricators, welders, or manufacturing teams is highly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Navisworks experience.
  • CNC fabrication or nesting experience.
  • CNCAD/AutoNest or similar software experience.
  • Experience with structural steel, wear plates, or mining equipment.
  • Experience with ITPs and technical documentation.
  • ERP or engineering project management experience.

What We're Looking For

We want someone who is hands-on and fabrication-focused, not purely office-based.

You should be able to read drawings, understand welding requirements, create accurate fabrication drawings, and determine whether a design is practical to manufacture.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
