Are you a clinically trained professional with a passion for patient care and precision MedVA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare providers in managing patient communications, triaging concerns, and maintaining accurate medical records — all from a remote setting.

This role blends clinical insight with administrative coordination, making it ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and values both care quality and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Triage patient calls and concerns, prioritizing urgent cases
  • Assist providers with follow-ups, medication management, and scheduling
  • Accurately document patient information and update medical records
  • Communicate test results, prescriptions, and treatment plans under provider direction
  • Provide clinical insights to support diagnosis and care planning
  • Perform administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, billing support, and report generation
  • Coordinate care and manage communication between providers and patients
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold healthcare documentation standards
What You Bring

  • Licensed Medical Assistant or equivalent certification (RNs/MDs highly preferred)
  • Your resume must clearly indicate your license or certification status
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care standards
