The Junior Plant Engineer (Electrical & Facilities) executes electrical and facility engineering programs and supervises electrical technicians in maintaining power distribution and facility systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of panels, generators, lighting systems, and facility infrastructure while ensuring proper testing and inspection routines are completed.
• Monitor electrical load, generator operation, ATS switching, and facility conditions to maintain stable plant power supply.
• Assist in updating electrical layouts, panel modifications, and facility upgrades based on operational requirements.
• Analyze electrical downtime incidents, assist in energy consumption tracking, and recommend corrective measures for inefficiencies.
• Ensure regular insulation testing, thermographic scanning coordination, breaker inspections, and other testing and validation practices are conducted and properly documented.
• Assist in supervising installation of electrical systems and support commissioning and testing validation.
• Enforce electrical safety procedures, grounding standards, and compliance with applicable electrical codes.
• Validate electrical maintenance records, update SLD revisions, and maintain testing documentation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: College Graduate preferably any Engineering Course preferably with Professional License

Experience: Open to candidates with or without prior experience including fresh graduates
