About this role

We are hiring a Solar Connections Specialist to work remotely to support an Australian client.

Our client is a growing solar company in Australia. The company installs solar panels and batteries for residential homes.

This is a paperwork-heavy role that requires strong electrical engineering and solar expertise.

Your responsibilities

• Handle paperwork for solar connections requests. This includes
• - DNSP Connection requests
• - Solar Pre-Approvals (SPAs)
• - Victorian Backstop Requirements and processing
• Creation of commissioning and hand-over documents
• Management of inverter monitoring platforms.
• Handling warranty claims and issues.
• Technical support for customers and installers over phone and email.

What are we looking for?

You must have

• An electrical engineering degree.
• 3+ years experience with solar installations and solar customers.
• Experience creating solar design and connection documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English

Preferred

• Experience in the Australian solar industry
• Board passer
• Experience talking directly with customers or installers over the phone.
• Experience working for an international company (from Australia, US, Canada, UK etc)
