Business Analyst (Agile / Digital Transformation)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support the successful delivery of strategic transformation and technology initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical delivery teams to define business requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and ensure solutions align with overarching business objectives.

As the key link between business and technology, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, drive process improvements, support Agile delivery, and ensure requirements remain traceable throughout the entire project lifecycle—from discovery and design through testing, deployment, and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements aligned with program goals.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional requirements, and precise acceptance criteria.
• Ensure requirements are thoroughly reviewed, approved, prioritized, and "definition-of-ready" before development sprints begin.
• Maintain complete and accurate business analysis documentation compliant with governance, audit, and project standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Serve as the primary liaison bridging business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, story prioritization, and sprint planning.
• Communicate project status updates, risk logs, and requirement changes clearly to key stakeholders.

Solution Analysis & Delivery Support

• Conduct impact analysis, gap analysis, and dependency mapping for proposed business and technical changes.
• Support solution design by validating technical capabilities against business requirements.
• Collaborate directly with developers and technical leads to clarify requirements during sprint cycles.
• Ensure Jira stories, epics, and tasks are complete, well-structured, and fully traceable.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Define test scenarios, business validation criteria, and UAT acceptance criteria.
• Active support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Assist with defect triage, root-cause resolution, and business sign-off prior to production deployment.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from initial requirements through development, testing, and release.

Process Improvement & Operational Readiness

• Map and analyze existing business processes to identify bottlenecks, legacy system limitations, and opportunities for optimization.
• Recommend standardized workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Support change management and operational readiness activities to ensure seamless adoption.

Agile Delivery & Project Support

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support Go/No-Go readiness assessments, deployment activities, and release planning.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of completed solutions into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology, digital transformation, or enterprise application projects.
• Agile Expertise: Proven experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban frameworks; proficient in sprint ceremonies and backlog management.
• Core BA Skills: Strong experience in end-to-end requirements gathering, process mapping (BPMN), gap analysis, impact analysis, and dependency mapping.
• Testing & QA: Demonstrated track record supporting UAT/SIT cycles, defect triage, and business validation.
• Tooling: High proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management software.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
