Join the front lines of the future of customer communication!

Avoca builds AI agents that answer calls for US home service companies. We're hiring English-fluent Customer Service Representatives in the Philippines to step in when a human voice matters most: high-ticket calls, complex customer needs, and consultative sales.

This is a hybrid role. You'll blend customer service and sales while working side by side with our AI agents.

English Proficiency (Required)

  • This is a voice-first role with US customers, so English is the core skill.
  • Near-native spoken English: clear, natural, easy to understand on the first listen
  • Neutral, clear accent with confident pronunciation, pacing and intonation
  • Excellent written English with strong grammar, for CRM notes and chat follow-ups
  • Able to understand fast-speaking, regional US accents and idioms
  • Comfortable staying warm, calm and professional with upset customers
  • You will be assessed with a live English voice interview and a call simulation

What You'll Do

  • Handle escalated or complex calls passed from AI agents (high-ticket sales inquiries, warranty issues, consultative feedback)
  • Support US homeowners on behalf of home service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Use your sales instincts to turn inbound inquiries into booked appointments, upsells and long-term customer relationships
  • Collaborate with AI workflows: refine prompt responses, spot escalation triggers, and help train and improve the system
  • Accurately log call outcomes, feedback and customer details in CRMs and booking platforms (like ServiceTitan)
  • Take part in regular coaching and performance feedback through Avoca Coach or similar tools

You Might Be a Fit If You:

  • Have 1+ years of experience in a US-facing voice account (BPO, call center or in-house), ideally home services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, landscaping)
  • Speak and write English at a near-native level
  • Are confident on the phone with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Are comfortable working alongside AI and curious about how it works
  • Thrive in a remote, collaborative team with a fast feedback loop
  • Can balance empathy and efficiency under pressure

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing or field service customer support
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or another service industry CRM
  • Prior work with AI-driven platforms or support tools
  • Familiarity with US culture, holidays and customer expectations
