Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Safety and Security team to ensure effective protection of guests, employees, facilities, and assets.
Implement and enforce hotel safety, security, and loss prevention policies, procedures, and standards.
Monitor security operations, including patrols, access control, CCTV surveillance, and incident response.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSH), Fire Code of the Philippines, and other relevant government requirements.
Lead emergency preparedness initiatives by coordinating fire drills, evacuation procedures, disaster response, and business continuity activities.
Investigate security incidents, accidents, injuries, thefts, property damage, and policy violations, and prepare accurate reports with recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct regular safety and security inspections to identify potential hazards, security vulnerabilities, and operational risks, and ensure timely implementation of corrective measures.
Coordinate with local government agencies, including the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), emergency medical responders, and other regulatory bodies as necessary.
Ensure the operational readiness and proper maintenance of security equipment, CCTV systems, fire protection equipment, emergency communication devices, and other safety-related facilities.
Monitor and manage contractor, supplier, visitor, and vehicle access to hotel premises in accordance with established security protocols.
Supervise the administration of lost-and-found procedures, key control systems, visitor management, and access authorization processes.
Provide leadership, coaching, training, and performance management to security personnel to promote professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Promote workplace safety awareness by conducting safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and employee training programs on emergency response and security protocols.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, incident reports, security assessments, and other management reports in a timely manner.
Assist management in developing and implementing risk management, crisis management, and business continuity plans to minimize operational disruptions.
Support hotel operations during VIP visits, major events, conferences, and other activities requiring enhanced security coordination.
Foster a service-oriented approach by balancing effective security measures with the delivery of exceptional guest service.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time in support of hotel operations and organizational objectives.
