I. Job Summary

In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately encoding patient records and test results into the clinic information system. You may also be tasked with encoding results across various departments as needed. II. Duties and Responsibilities

A. Specific Role

1. Encodes patient records and results in Clinic Information System.

2. Proofreads patient records and results for grammatical and typing errors.

3. Complies with specific standards applicable to the style of medical records and legal/ethical requirements for keeping patient information confidential.

4. Receives and reviews patient records and other supporting documentation for accuracy.

5. Coordinates and communicates with other clinic staff regarding unclear or insufficient records/results in a timely manner.

6. Performs record audits, if needed.

7. Ensures completeness of results released daily.

8. Verifies accuracy of patient results uploaded into the website.

9. Informs the supervisor of any issues with equipment or software.

10. Assists in improving the department’s operational efficiency.

11. Performs additional tasks as requested by the department.

B. General Duties

1. Fulfills the company’s set KPIs.

2. Ensures completeness of assigned reports and deliverables.

3. Follows operational safety and health regulations in the workplace.

4. Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results when needed.

5. Adheres to company policies.

6. Performs other tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

III. Required Skills and Competencies

A. Experience and Expertise

1. Must be a Filipino citizen and a resident of the Philippines.

2. Graduate of any 4-year medical, allied health, computer-related, or healthcare administration course.

3. Experience in medical encoding, healthcare documentation, radiology records, or field operations is an advantage.

4. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and diagnostic procedures is preferred.

5. Familiarity with ICD coding, diagnostic coding, and medical classification systems is an advantage.

6. Knowledge in handling Clinic Information Systems, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), RIS/PACS, or related healthcare systems is preferred.

7. Experience in encoding radiology examination results such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, and other diagnostic procedures is an advantage.

8. Knowledge in handling field operation documentation, and billing is an advantage.

9. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data management.

B. Personal Characteristics

b. Excellent typing skills (at least 45 words per minute)

c. Working knowledge of medical jargon and anatomy preferred

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
