Job Title: Junior Reports and Compliance Analyst

Position Summary
The Junior Reports and Compliance Analyst supports the organization's reporting, compliance monitoring, and performance management functions by gathering, validating, analyzing, and presenting data from various operational processes. This role is responsible for generating accurate reports, assisting in compliance audits, monitoring adherence to company standards and procedures, and translating audit findings into meaningful insights that support operational improvements and performance reviews.

This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in data reporting, compliance, process improvement, and business operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Reporting and Data Analysis

  • Gather data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, project management systems, and internal platforms.
  • Clean, validate, and organize data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring operational, production, and compliance reports.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
  • Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, exceptions, and performance indicators.
  • Support management by providing timely and accurate reporting for decision-making purposes.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving reporting discrepancies and data quality issues.
  • Document reporting methodologies, procedures, and data definitions.

Compliance Monitoring and Auditing

  • Conduct routine compliance audits based on established company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Review documentation, processes, and records to identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor adherence to internal controls, quality standards, and operational requirements.
  • Assist in tracking corrective actions and follow-up activities resulting from audit findings.
  • Maintain compliance records and audit documentation in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance programs and initiatives.

Performance and Business Support

  • Translate audit results and compliance findings into reports that can be utilized during performance reviews and operational assessments.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and summary reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather information and clarify audit findings or reporting requirements.
  • Respond to reporting and compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance adherence.

Continuous Learning and Development

  • Develop proficiency in reporting tools, spreadsheets, and business intelligence applications.
  • Stay informed of company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development activities.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Accountancy, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in reporting, auditing, data analysis, compliance monitoring, or administrative support is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Forms and Docs, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of reporting principles and compliance processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
