Full job description

The On-Call Dentist will provide dental consultation, oral examinations, and basic dental procedures during scheduled medical missions and community outreach programs. The role focuses on delivering quality dental care and promoting oral health awareness to patients in underserved communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct oral examinations and dental assessments for patients.
  • Perform basic dental procedures such as tooth extraction, prophylaxis, and minor dental treatments as needed.
  • Diagnose dental and oral health conditions.
  • Prescribe medications when necessary and within professional scope.
  • Provide oral health education and proper dental hygiene instructions to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and handling of dental instruments and equipment.
  • Coordinate with the medical mission team for efficient patient flow and service delivery.
  • Refer complicated dental cases to appropriate facilities or specialists when necessary.
  • Willing to join Medical Mission nationwide.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Dentist with a valid PRC License.
  • With experience in medical missions or community outreach programs is an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented.
  • Willing to work on-call and travel to assigned mission areas.
  • Capable of working in fast-paced and field environments.

Working Arrangement:

  • On-call / project-based
  • Schedule depends on medical mission activities and outreach schedules.

Compensation:

  • Php 5,200- 6,200.00/day
  • Accommodation and transportation provided
  • With meal allowance

Pay: Php5,200.00 - Php6,200.00 per day

Work Location: In person
