Job Description

Delivery Rider is responsible for the door-to-door delivery of packages and documents to customers’ designated addresses. The role ensures accurate scanning, timely delivery, proper handling of COD payments, and professional customer communication in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

  • Possesses a valid Philippine driver’s license (motorcycle)
  • Owns a reliable motorcycle with updated registration and insurance
  • Familiar with local routes and assigned delivery areas
  • With a smartphone and internet access for delivery tracking and communication
  • Good communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability
  • Good interpersonal and customer communication skills
  • Willingness to be trained and follow delivery protocols
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned parcels securely and in a timely manner
  • Follow correct scanning procedures such as Delivery Scan, POD, and Problem Scan when necessary
  • Accept assigned delivery areas without reservation
  • Communicate with customers prior to delivery via call or SMS to confirm availability
  • Notify recipients of unsuccessful deliveries or delivery issues
  • Collect COD payments after successful delivery and remit payments with waybill copies to the branch admin
  • Ensure parcels are handled with care and delivered to the correct recipient
  • Plan delivery routes efficiently using local area knowledge and GPS applications
  • Report delivery issues, parcel problems, or non-receipt cases to the Drop Point Supervisor or Admin through the assigned mobile application
  • Exhibit professional, courteous, and pleasant behavior when interacting with customers
  • Distribute marketing collaterals within assigned delivery areas when required
  • Perform other delivery-related duties as assigned
