As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll help transform data into meaningful insights that support product improvements, customer success, and business growth.

Position Summary

The Data Analyst Intern will assist in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data to help drive informed decision-making across MyThorneAI. This internship provides hands-on experience working with educational data, business metrics, product analytics, and reporting dashboards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

This opportunity is ideal for students interested in data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources.
• Analyze student engagement, platform usage, and learning outcomes.
• Build reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with creating KPI reports for product, marketing, customer success, and sales teams.
• Validate data accuracy and identify inconsistencies.
• Support customer outcome reporting for school partners.
• Perform ad hoc data analysis for special projects.
• Develop visualizations and charts to communicate findings.
• Document data definitions, reporting processes, and analytical methods.
• Collaborate with software developers and product teams to improve data collection.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
• Data Analytics
• Computer Science

• Or a related field
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
