JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a proactive and organized Crewing Officer to support crew deployment, documentation, and personnel management. The role is responsible for monitoring crew readiness, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, coordinating deployment requirements, and maintaining effective communication with principals and crew members.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in crew sourcing, screening, and initial interviews.
  • Monitor crew availability, medical fitness, and document validity for deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime and regulatory requirements (STCW, MLC, MARINA, POEA, etc.).
  • Coordinate crew deployment, travel arrangements, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate crew records, embarkation, and disembarkation data.
  • Conduct and document exit interviews for disembarking crew.
  • Communicate regularly with principals regarding crew status and deployment updates.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with principals and stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and paperless operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Experience in crewing, fleet personnel management, or HR operations is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations and crew deployment processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
