Full job description

Public Relations Account Executive

For ambitious communicators who want to become consultants—not order-takers.

Why this role exists

Priority Consultants is a consulting-led communications firm, not an agency that waits for instructions. In the age of AI, content is easy. What clients pay for is judgment, sector understanding, relationship strength, and consistent delivery.

We’re looking for an Account Executive with 3–4 years’ experience who’s hungry to grow—someone who takes ownership, learns fast, and wants a real career path toward becoming a trusted client advisor.

Who we are

Headquartered in Singapore, Priority Consultants has supported multinational B2B companies expanding into Asia since 1985. We’re 50+ professionals working virtually across APAC markets—ambitious, collaborative, and focused on measurable outcomes and a consistent client experience.

Who you are

You’re early-career, but you’re not passive. You:

  • Want to build a career as a consultant-level communicator
  • Take ownership and follow through—people can rely on you
  • Are curious about business and want to build sector depth (tech, professional services, financial services, energy, critical infrastructure)
  • Write clearly, think logically, and improve fast with feedback
  • Work well with others—high standards, low ego, strong team habits

You’ll thrive in this role if…

  • You take initiative rather than waiting for instructions
  • You welcome feedback and adapt quickly
  • You’re eager to learn how the business works beyond comms tasks
  • You aim for excellence and are not satisfied with “good enough”

What you’ll do

  • Support account leads in delivering client programmes across media engagement, thought leadership, internal comms and events
  • Research trends, competitors and story angles—and turn them into recommendations
  • Draft and refine PR materials: pitches, press releases, bylines, FAQs, messaging, reports
  • Track results and learn to connect activity to outcomes
  • Help deliver a great client experience: responsiveness, accuracy, proactive problem-solving
  • Build professional relationships through reliability and quality—internally and externally

The way we work (consulting mindset)

  • You don’t just ask “what do you want me to do?”—you ask “what are we trying to achieve, what’s the best option, and what’s the risk?”
  • You use AI responsibly to speed up drafts and analysis, but you verify facts and protect confidentiality
  • You seek feedback, apply it quickly, and steadily raise your standard

Must-haves

  • Relevant degree (or higher)
  • 3–4 years agency experience in PR / digital / marketing communications
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
  • Strong organisation + attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a remote-first environment and working across cultures/time zones
  • Coachable, curious, and driven

Your growth pathway (clear progression)

We hire for potential and promote on capability. Typical progression:

AE → SAE → AM → Account Director

  • AE (this role): strong execution + reliability + learning speed
  • SAE: runs workstreams independently, sharper counsel, stronger client confidence
  • AM: owns project leadership, client rhythm, and account performance with guidance
  • Account Director: leads account growth, senior relationships, and sets standards across teams

What accelerates promotion here: ownership, proactive thinking, excellent client experience habits, and growing ability to advise—not just deliver.

What you’ll get

  • Real responsibility and a steep learning curve (not just admin)
  • Mentorship + the Priority Learning Programme
  • Work with multinational clients and meaningful business topics
  • Remote working opportunity, competitive salary + performance-based incentives
  • Paid time off, medical leave, and medical insurance (upon confirmation)
  • Supportive team culture with knowledge-sharing and coaching

Benefits:

  • Health insurance
  • Work from home

Work Location: Remote
