KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Provide information for diagnosing disease by conducting medical laboratory tests and procedures for body fluids like blood, urine, and stool.
• Responsible for encoding, recording and validating test results.
• Responsible for verifying patient’s data and list of tests.
• Monitor and record the laboratory census of the delegated section.
• Ensure equipment remains in good condition and report any malfunction to the immediate supervisor and/or coordinate with Admin for preventive maintenance.
• Monitor laboratory supplies to maintain stock level and to generate month end report.
• Responsible for calibration and daily quality control of equipment.
• Perform National External Quality Assessment Scheme.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are always strictly followed, and the work environment is maintained cleanly and orderly.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES

• Registered Medical Technologist
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• HIV Proficiency and Drug Analyst is an advantage; must have at least 2 years’ experience in the same position

Contract length: 5 months
