Full job description

PURPOSE: Follows all aspects of Cashiering within a CIBO store, strictly complying with CIBO standards, and ensuring its viability through the achievement of set targets and objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Performs excellent customer relations with guests.
  • Accommodates customer inquiries and complaints and coordinates with the Store Manager if there are necessary actions to address them.
  • Helps control cashier’s costs (materials and supplies and other variable costs) through strict compliance to procedural standards. (Inventory of supplies, Petty cash, Requisition, FIFO, etc.)
  • Follows new systems and procedures to achieve smooth workflow within the Cashier Area.
  • Adapts new knowledge gained from training conducted by Senior Cashier.
  • Prepares cashiering assignments. Report any deviations or discrepancies to the Senior Cashier for proper actions and inform the Finance Department of the same.
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports submitted to the Senior Cashier for checking.
  • Accountable for the cash sales of her shift until turnover to the Senior Cashier is done
  • Responsible for the arrangement and display of the Alimentari section
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the cashier section
  • Prepares the on-time preparation of the time card records for payroll and service charge purposes. Ensures that all entries on overtime and deductions for tardiness and absences are accurate.
  • Conducts proper handling and upkeep of the following equipment: CDs, component system, POS cash, bundy clock, calculator and other office equipment. Reports to the Store Manager any equipment that requires repair.
  • Follows the company’s code of conduct
  • Perform any other task to be given from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: At least 2year college, preferably Accounting or related fields

EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year related work experience

SKILLS:

  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Willing to be assigned in any CIBO outlet.
  • Above average communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Friendly and personable

SUPERVISION: Standard; attention to detail required.
