About the Project:

We're looking for a talented 2D Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing anime, manga, or manhwa-inspired artwork to join an exciting passion project. This is a commission-based contract role, ideal for artists who enjoy collaborating on creative projects and bringing unique characters and worlds to life.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality character illustrations in anime, manga, or manhwa styles.
  • Develop character concepts, expressions, poses, and outfits based on creative direction.
  • Produce polished artwork that aligns with the project's visual style.
  • Revise artwork based on constructive feedback.
  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines and communicate progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with the project lead on design ideas and visual storytelling.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in digital illustration.
  • Demonstrated experience in anime, manga, or manhwa art styles.
  • Portfolio showcasing original character designs and completed illustrations.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, composition, lighting, color, and perspective.
  • Ability to receive feedback and iterate efficiently.
  • Reliable communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating concept art for games, comics, visual novels, or animation.
  • Experience designing fantasy, sci-fi, or modern characters.
  • Knowledge of character sheets, expressions, and turnaround references.
  • Experience working remotely with creative teams.

Compensation

  • Commission-based, paid per illustration or milestone.
  • Rates will be discussed based on experience, portfolio quality, and project scope.
